Small and Stylish...My new Brooklyn Abode...

Recently I moved to the cutest apartment in downtown Brooklyn ..it's absolutely ADORABLE...

However the kitchen wall color is not my favorite....

So I did what any Interior Designer would do... I designed around it.
I added a few  bold, clean statement pieces. And now the color works !
This inspired me to carry this statement thru out the entire apartment !

Here's my favorite ! My photo gallery wall.. Love Love Love !!!
I believe every home should have such a wall... I just love the way the black frames and white mats dress each photo so gracefully .They make the smallest  space seem larger than life...

Another fab find are these  2 grey scoop back (stack-able ) chairs from RESTORATION HARDWARE. They fit perfectly with my little white lacquer side table I got from MG+BW..what a cute little dining area LOVE IT !!!

GREY is so HOT right NOW !
And I hit the jack pot......
The walls were already painted my favorite Benjamin Moore grey "Windy City" ....
So I just stayed with the Black and White theme..
added a few pops of color... against the grey walls.. oh wow DELICOUS !
And no, I did not write on the wall but I do believe Laughter and Love is what Life is all about.

Okay, that's enough for now.. I'm still working on my bedroom. I'm praying for the inspiration.

Stay Tune !
Be Well....

  1. I love the kitchen wall color! Granted it is a different one than is usually found in kitchens. I just read an article about mixing turquoise & red in your wardrobe. Maybe you can do the same thing and add red accents & pots, etc. Love your apartment!

  2. Wow...good call and it sounds like it was a good article, because that's exactly what I did.. My pop of color is red ( more like orange-red) just a few hints.. It works really well. I may not have chosen the color.. but I can work it out !!! It's really cool.
